Oh, I can't believe I missed this the first time around. That's what I get for not visiting here for a while ("too busy" just does not cut it!). I'm glad Leigh linked, and I got to see this. So, so beautiful.

Magical! Such blessed beauty and righteousness to enjoy the snow and the hot springs, together in the Land of Enchantment. I can relate to the experience of Ice and Water -a cold snow surrounding you, and warm water to keep you. Such a blessing to have them both at the same time, on Christmas day. Did you make snow Angels?! xoxo

I want to cry reading this, viewing these photos of your family soaking (in water, in love, in peace, in freedom, and seeing the landscape in seeming stillness and motion around you. I wish to be in that space, too. What a divine, perfect ritual for the Solstice. Your family will cherish the memories, those god and goddesslike moments atop and within the beauty of our Mother Earth. So, so, so lovely.
Thank you for sharing your slice of heavan on Earth.
XOXO

Wow! Those pictures are fantastic. Hubbie and I visited New Mexico last year and stayed in a little Bed and Breakfast along the continental divide near Grants. We didn't have a lot of time but visited Albequerque. I totally fell in love. I would LOVE to live there some day. But those hot springs--wow! What a great way to spend Christmas.
