What have I been doing while on a Cyber Detox? Lots. But first let me vent on my current financial situation that has upheld the installation of Misplaced Mama’s new Satellite system out here in the cradle of the mama earth: AAARRRGH. But I call upon Buffalo Medicine, and the abundance flows to us, as always Jah provides. I have lived in the belly of the city and the middle of the forests and in the semi-suburbs. Somehow we always seem to be fed and sheltered and surrounded by beauty, culture, rhythm. I know that the iron will smooth out the kinks and soon internet will grace our home along with the bills being paid. Until then, I bow down to the little cafe up the way that fills my cup of coffee and lets me ride the wave of their wireless.

And I have been writing. I have been writing more and more, the absence of the internet and it’s distractions bring blessings. Microsoft Word meeting up with fast and furious typing have been music under the waning moon. But I miss this connection, this space, where so many hold me on this journey. This community is real, and I feel it the most when I am away from it. For you, who is another myself, I give thanks.
