We are going to Orcas Island to celebrate the first birthday of my baby girl which happens to be tomorrow. My journal is filled with a recipe of words in her honor, words I have been scribbling between school drop offs and swiping small craft beads from then babies mouth. Until I share them, a moment here where Sula is explaining to Z what she can do as a one year old, you can jump on the grass from dada’s ladder and eat Q-tips…here try one… and your bones can crack and then jewels will fall out of them and you also can have some salmon.
